Juliana Kanyomozi’s son will be laid
to rest on Friday at Mattuga,
Kiryagonja in Uganda. This will be
after a memorial service at All Saints
Cathedral in Kampala on Friday
morning.
Keron Kabugo Raphael passed away
at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi
on Sunday. According to newvision,
family members say that Keron
suffered an asthma attack while at
school two weeks before his passing.
He then developed severe
pneumonia that left his lungs badly
infected. That led to him being
airlifted to Nairobi for further
treatment.
Breaking the news to the public,
Juliana paid tribute to her son on
social media, “What was spreading
earlier was a rumour. He passed
away at 10:25am this morning. He's
been such a fighter. Thank you for
praying for my little angel. I will try
and be as strong as I possibly can.
Rest in peace Keron. Sleep well my
son. Till we meet again.”
Keron’s father is businessman Amos
Lukwango whose relationship with
Juliana ended years back. Juliana
has been raising Keron as a single
mother.
The casket carrying the body of
Keron arrived at Entebbe Airport on
Tuesday evening. Keron’s father was
present to receive the body. The
mother, who sources say
accompanied the body, was not
visible to the members of public.
