CAN THIS BE TRUE??
Kathleen Landry is a committed sponsor to
charity work that aids the Deep Sea slum in
Nairobi. Bill Gozansky ( www.billgozansky.com)
photographed the children and families of the
slum in an effort to assist the Consolata Shrine
with their efforts in raising funds for this very
impoverished community. The families in this
community are in great need of food, shelter,
clothing and education. The Consolata Shrine has
been working diligently to upgrade the
community housing from mud huts to iron sheet
construction in hopes to offer the families better
protection in the rainy season. They have also
built a nursery school for the children of the
slums and a medical clinic to assist the families.
Progress has been made, but there is still great
need for additional resources. If you would like
more information about the charitable activities
of the Consolata Shrine or to find out how you
can help, please visit www.consolatashrine.org/
charity.asp or contact Peter Ndungu at
